Three (3) Comprehensive Workforce Development Programs/Certificates
1. IT Technical Training Certificate
Courses for individuals new to IT. These are candidates who have experience in other areas (e.g., another part of the business, job change, returning veterans) who are looking to take advantage of the strong demand for IT professionals.
2. IT Legacy Systems Support Certificate
Courses for experienced IT candidates who have been asked to support IT services that were created and supported by retiring employees. While many of these technologies have been with us for decades, these legacy systems continue to play a fundamental role in the future of organizations around the globe that require a large number of qualified specialists. 66% of CIOs say that the impending retirement of mainframe experts will hurt their business and their ability to support legacy applications.
3. Emerging Technology Training Certificate
Courses for experienced IT candidates being asked to support popular new/emerging technologies.
This set of three bespoke programs prepares candidates new to IT, legacy-systems specialists, and emerging-technology support staff for in-demand technical careers. Participants will learn to:
- Build foundational IT competency — IT management fundamentals, programming, data essentials, and business fundamentals — for candidates new to the field
- Support legacy IT systems — including strategic legacy database management, CICS, and IMS — left behind by retiring staff
- Develop skills in emerging technologies, including cybersecurity, AI (Agentic AI), blockchain, and enterprise platforms (Oracle, SAP)
- Apply data essentials and Python to modernize and support enterprise data and application environments
- Prepare for IT career transitions through structured training paths tailored to prior experience and career goals
