Digital Leadership Coaching Programs

Turn Leadership Insight Into Lasting Impact

  • Advancing from technical expertise into leadership requires more than knowledge. It requires the ability to make better decisions, influence stakeholders, develop people, lead change, and apply your strengths in the context of real organizational challenges.
  • GIIM’s Digital Leadership Coaching provides personalized support for IT, digital, and business professionals who want to accelerate their growth and increase their impact. Coaching complements leadership education by helping participants turn ideas, tools, and intentions into meaningful results.
  • This is personalized 1:1 or group coaching with content driven entirely by each participant’s individual goals and challenges, not a fixed curriculum.

Coaching for the Challenges Leaders Face Now

Participants may focus on challenges such as:

  • leading a team through digital transformation or significant change
  • increasing influence with executives, peers, customers, or partners
  • improving communication, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making
  • preparing for a larger leadership role or career transition
  • developing stronger teams and future leaders
  • clarifying priorities and focusing on the most strategic work
  • translating digital and business strategy into action.

Three (3) different mentoring/coaching programs:

1. Executive Coaching

One-to-one coaching for leaders who want to strengthen business performance, strategic judgment, influence, and leadership effectiveness. Coaching can help executives recognize new opportunities, improve decisions, and adapt how they lead and interact with others.

2. Career Coaching

Guidance for professionals who want to clarify their goals, assess strengths and interests, explore opportunities, and develop a practical career plan. The focus is on building confidence and direction for the next stage of professional growth.

3. Leadership Coaching

Focused support for managers and executives who want to improve how they lead people, teams, change, and results. Participants work on the specific behaviors, decisions, and relationships that affect their leadership impact.

Two (2) different delivery models:

1. One-On-One/Individual

Personalized one-to-one coaching provides confidential, focused support for an individual’s goals and challenges. It is well suited to leaders preparing for greater responsibility, navigating a complex situation, or seeking to accelerate their development.

The one-on-one coaching can begin anytime you are ready to accelerate your professional growth. The 7-session one-on-one coaching program fee is $5,500 USD. These executive coaching programs include sessions held once each month for 7 months with a veteran leadership coach. Each one-on-one session is 45 minutes.

2. Group/Organizational Coaching

Group coaching offers a collaborative, cost-effective approach for cohorts of leaders. Participants learn from the coach and one another while applying a shared leadership framework to their own opportunities and challenges.

GIIM can also design organizational coaching to support a leadership population, transformation initiative, or development pathway.

The group coaching model requires a minimum of 6 participants and is available as we assemble groups of 6-10 participants. The 7-session group coaching program fee is $1,500 USD per participant in the US and Western Europe. These executive coaching programs include sessions held once each month for 7 months with a veteran leadership coach. The group sessions are one hour each.

BOTH MODELS

Both models help IT leaders improve their performance in team building and team leadership, driving change and digital transformation, communicating with and influencing stakeholders, developing people, and collaborating across organizational boundaries. While most candidates are IT executives, this program can be made available to non-IT candidates.

The coaching approach provided has been leveraged at companies/organizations including Bloomberg, The Economist, New York University, Dish Network, The NFL (National Football League), Merck, and members of the CIO Executive Council; see some testimonials from recent participants below.

These executive coaching models include sessions held once each month for 7 months with a veteran leadership coach. The one-on-one sessions are 45 minutes each, and the group sessions are one hour each.

The models begin by identifying 2-3 challenges or opportunities that will be the focus of the remaining sessions. Participants devote the remaining bulk of the sessions, with the support of their leadership coach, to exploring new ways to expand their horizons to maximize their results and impact as an IT leader.

In both models, candidates get out of them what they put into them. The focus of each session is on helping you apply what you know in new ways, so that you achieve results that you were unable to achieve on your own. In between the live sessions, you will be given personalized projects to help you improve your leadership performance.

Think of how a golf or tennis pro can help you improve your grip or your swing to improve your game. IT leadership coaching works the same way. Just as you practice your new swing, in the IT leadership coaching program you will have opportunities to practice new personalized leadership techniques.

Both models are subject to facilitators’ availability, and enrollment is first-come, first-served. To find out more information or to sign up, send an email to info@globaliim.com

We provide a robust coaching framework that inspires trust, leads to action, encourages growth, and ultimately helps candidates achieve their potential by moving beyond their comfort zone.

A Practical, Action-Oriented Process

Coaching begins by identifying two or three priority challenges or opportunities. From there, the participant and coach establish clear goals and work through practical strategies, experiments, reflection, and follow-through.

The process typically includes:

  • Clarifying goals, context, and desired outcomes
  • Assessing leadership strengths, opportunities, and stakeholder dynamics
  • Developing practical actions and new approaches
  • Applying them in real work situations
  • Reviewing progress, learning, and next steps

Between sessions, participants may complete personalized actions or projects that support immediate improvement and sustained growth.

What Participants Can Develop

Coaching can help leaders strengthen their ability to:

  • build and lead effective teams
  • communicate clearly and influence key stakeholders
  • lead digital change and transformation
  • develop people and future leaders
  • collaborate across organizational boundaries
  • manage competing demands and prioritize strategic work
  • make more confident, thoughtful decisions
  • apply leadership knowledge in ways that create measurable value.
Designed for IT, Digital, and Business Leaders
  • While the program is designed especially for IT and digital professionals, it can be valuable for leaders in any function who work across technology, strategy, operations, and organizational change.
  • GIIM can align coaching with its leadership and digital-management programs, including Mastering Business Leadership, CIO development, digital transformation, and functional leadership pathways.
